Ok, though the title of this blog may seem like a particularly bad reference to Abbott and Costello’s most famous bit, it is in actuality just your old pal Chris taking a moment to geek out about today’s official release of something i’ve been waiting for an awful long time. “Festival” filmmaker Murray Lerner’s much labored over documentary portrait of The Who, “The Who: Amazing Journey — The Story of The Who” out in an extras packed two disc edition. If you’re like me and feel a bizarre monthly compulsion to watch “The Kids Are Alright” you’re no doubt equally excited to have another whopping dose of The Who in your DVD library. Guided by Mr. Lerner’s skilled hand the film is sure to be a knockout. Look for a feature piece on the doc on our homepage later this week.
