Planet Krulik
This week if you?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢ve checked out the feature articles already, you may have noticed that instead of just posting an article about our ?¢‚Ǩ?ìFeatured Docmaker,?¢‚Ǩ¬ù we actually had the opportunity to ask the filmmaker?¢‚Ǩ‚Äùin this case Jeff Krulik?¢‚Ǩ‚Äùa few questions. Krulik was kind, concise and speedy with his responses. His films don?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢t necessarily try to save the world, save the whales or end homelessness, but they seek to do something that, as legendary filmmaker Preston Sturges once illustrated in the classic picture ?¢‚Ǩ?ìSullivan?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢s Travels,?¢‚Ǩ¬ù is of equal importance?¢‚Ǩ‚Äùthey entertain, they make us smile, and in at least a couple cases, they make us wonder. Want a documentary about stoned metal heads? Done. Mass amounts of porn archived by Library of Congress employees? Hmmm, done. Ernest Borgnine? Krulik has you covered. So check out the interview and then check out Jeff?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢s website www.planetkrulik.com to see a few of his films for yourself. They?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢re dolphin safe. At least I think they are.
